XTE Kayak
XTE Kayak is based in Sai Kung Country Park and Double Haven Marine Park. We are inspired to provide people with unique experiences in kayaking in these areas. We also help the people to learn kayaking skills & techniques in order to enjoy their time in ocean.

Double Haven Marine Park 印洲塘海岸公園
Double Haven (Yan Chau Tong) rests on the northeastern shore of Plover Cove Country Park. The Chinese name Yan Chau Tong is probably inspired by an interesting looking islet which takes the shape of a stone seal. To conserve the wildlife and natural features of this lovely area, Double Haven was designated a marine park in 1996.
Double Haven is a idyllic arcadia embraced by uplands. It owes its celestial tranquil setting to the surrounding hills. Well shielded on four sides from the open sea, it is relatively unaffected by the southeast summer monsoon and northwest winter monsoon. The air is a little dryer than other parts of Hong Kong and there is seldom heavy rain. Although a whole network of small streams flow into Double Haven, they never cause any widespread flooding. Bestowed with such supreme qualities, it is no surprise that Double Haven astonishes every first-time visitor with her stunning beauty. That unique serene mood is simply unimaginable in bustling Hong Kong.
風光旖旎的印洲塘位於船灣郊野公園東北岸。這片海岸有一外形宛如印台的小島，稱為印洲，印洲塘因而得名。印洲塘一帶水域的生態物種和自然景致深具保育價值，政府於1996年已將該區劃為海岸公園。
印洲塘山光水色，層巒疊嶂，仿如人間仙境，是一隅與世無爭的恬靜樂土。這裡風平浪靜，主要因為四周有群山作為障屏，阻擋海洋的波浪，夏天不受東南季候風影響，冬天也避過凜洌的西北季候風，氣候比香港其他地方乾燥，暴雨很少光臨，縱橫交錯的小溪流亦柔柔涓流，全都不足以造成廣泛氾濫。上天特別眷顧這一泓清水，首次到訪印洲塘，遊人總會流露驚訝的讚嘆目光，那種截然不同的氛圍和寧靜安詳的感覺，讓人難以相信自己身處於香港。
Sea Kung Geopark 西貢地質公園
The hexagonal rock columns, widely exposed in Sai Kung, are Hong Kong’s most iconic and globally rare geoheritage. Sai Kung is characterised by long meandering coastlines and numerous islands. With no natural barriers to offer protection, the east-facing areas meeting the sea fall victim to persistent wind and wave erosion. The weathered outer layer of rock distributed in these areas is denuded. On the islands, the harsh environment led to sparse vegetation coverage. In this setting, the hexagonal rock columns are typically exposed in their true glory. Jin Island, Fa Shan on High Island, the Ung Kong Group and the Ninepin Group are core distribution zones of hexagonal rock columns in Hong Kong. The shores are rimmed with precipitous cliffs, and rock columns are well exposed with their distinct hexagonal form. Visitors can see a wide range of coastal erosion landforms and breath-taking vistas.
在西貢地區廣泛出露的六角形岩柱是香港最具代表性及世界罕有的地質遺跡。西貢的海岸線綿長，島嶼繁多，朝向東面的區域面向廣闊大海，缺乏天然屏障保護，長期遭受強烈風浪侵蝕，以致岩石的風化外層被剝開，加上海島生存環境惡劣，植被覆蓋率低，六角形岩柱的真實面目因而得以清晰展現。吊鐘洲、糧船灣花山、甕缸群島和果洲群島都是香港六角形岩柱分布的核心區，海岸布滿懸崖峭壁，岩石出露良好，而且六角柱狀構造清晰，並結合豐富多樣的海岸侵蝕地貌，景致雄偉壯觀。
